This year's trip to Palm Desert was very special as Avery met her greatgrandmother for the first time! We are a lucky family to have four generations together.
My grandmother gave Avery this little doll (we call her "Baby") and Avery would not put it down!
Aaron had high hopes that Avery would take to the water...but she wasn't so sure about it.
Avery spent lots of time with her Auntie
and we met up with our friends Josh and Anat for a leisurly brunch at the Westin Resort.
After brunch we took a walk around the property.
We went on an early morning hiking up Mt. Eisenhower with my aunt
and we spent lots of time eating with my grandmother.
At one feeding in our hotel room, Avery learned that she could spit her food out everywhere. It was hard not to laugh as she was laughing hysterically!
Avery turned 9 months old! Three months before I'm one!
