Palm Desert Vacation February 11-17th

Aaron and I headed down to the desert to visit my grandmother and aunt and uncle and to spend some time relaxing in the warm sun. My aunt hosted us for many meals and relaxing afternoons at her home on the Ironwood golf course.

We spent an afternoon visiting the La Qunita Resort and walking around the town of La Quinta.

We took an hour drive from Palm Desert into the Joshua Tree National Park and spent a beautiful day hiking around and taking in the desert sites.


To celebrate Valentines Day and our 6-year dating anniversary, Aaron took me to Citron at the Viceroy Hotel in Palm Springs. The atmosphere and dinner were fantastic...and we ran into Josh!
We spent Valentines Day at the La Quinta Art Walk then with my grandmother at her Valentines Day party.

Aaron took me to dinner at the Cliffhouse restaurant and we sat outside by a big bonfire enjoying another beautiful desert evening. My cousin Rob and his girlfriend Megan drove out from LA to spend the day with us.

PDX Weekend

Last weekend I went down to Portland with seven of my girlfriends from college. Allison planned a fantastic weekend for us that included staying at a chic new hotel (The Nines), pedicures, and a private dining experience at the Veriable Quandry. On Sunday morning, she hosted us for a brunch at her house. It was a really fun weekend--looking forward to doing it again!
