Aaron and I took the weekend off from all-things-baby and headed to the desert to visit Aunt Nancy for a few days. Our first night in town we met up with my friend from high school and her husband. We had an amazing night at the Bellagio, with dinner at Circo, drinks at the Fontana Lounge, and more drinks (and mocktails for me!) at The Bank nightclub. We had such a great time! On Saturday, Aunt Nancy and I took Aaron to one of the best spots in Vegas for hiking -- Red Rock Canyon. We made a pit stop at the Red Rock Resort for lunch then headed on to take in the beauty of Red Rock. Here we are at the Red Rock pool.
Red Rock Canyon is a federal conservation area that has several hiking trails. It was a georgous day for a hike!

After hiking we headed over to the Green Valley Ranch, where Aaron sat in the sports book and watched the Husky Basketball Team lose in triple overtime to Cal. At least he could manage a smile by the pool...
